Tim scored tickets for us to see Garth Brooks at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. We bought the tickets, worried about child care afterwards! Luckily for us, we had a mimi who was more than ready to see the grandbabies and hopped on a plane to come babysit for us while we were at the concert! Vegas is a little more than a 3 hour drive so we went up for the weekend. It was an amazing show, just Garth and his guitar. 13 rows back! The show started at 10:30 pm and he played till 1 am!! Trisha Yearwood even came out and did a few duets with him. It's been a LONG time since we were out that late, but it was totally worth it!

California Adventure

Disney had a special deal for southern California residents, buy one park, get one free. Luckily, Disney is only 2 hours from us! We were able to drive up for the day and come back home that night. We really loved California Adventure, the whole park was made up of differnt parts of California. We especially loved the Edwards area, with the Soaring ride and the "taste pilot cafe!"
