Merf Haircut

So, I got a drastic hair cut! What do ya'll think? (sorry it's a bad picture and so close up!). It will be a surprise when Tim comes home!

Pajama Party

This morning when Makenzie came out of her room, she had all of her friends in pajamas. Apparently, she had been quite busy before she came down!

Family Time

Guess we were bored with the camera! Spending some precious time together.

Bathing Beauties

Just some cute pictures of the girls just before going swimming.

21st Century Girl

Makenzie just got this "laptop" computer and it is really a great toy! It has over 20 games on it, and a mouse--scary how much like the real thing it is, actually!

Backyard BBQ

Celebrating the 4th with our friends the Howards who live down the street. Who says a sparkler and preschoolers can't be fun?!? I got the girls all matching princess phones so they can better keep in touch with their busy play date schedules.

Meredith's Birthday

Ok, so this is really out of order, but I'm still figuring this whole blog thing out so I wasn't sure how to add things in, work with me here! :) Do ya want new pictures or what? So anyway, here is my 28th birthday which was July 1st. My hubby did a fabulous job of decorating and ordering a yummy ice cream cake. The best present of all was to have him home for my birthday!

South Africa Trip Souveniers

Tim recently went on a trip through Ascension Island and Cape Verde, South Africa. Here are a couple of things he brought back. The carved wooden masks are 7 day masks--each mask represents a day of the week. Tim thought the picture on the right was neat because it was signed by the artist, "Mufasta," which was kinda like Mufasa on Lion King. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the girls dresses in the picture are actually pieces of fabric crinkled up. The blue one on the left Tim got by trading his broken Wal-Mart watch that he wears on trips, and a 2 Euro coin for! We thought that was a pretty darn good deal!

Redecorating

I have been looking for a new end table and found a nice one on Craig's List. I emailed the person (who was annonymous) and asked them if it was available. As it turned out, it was my dear friend, Megan, who had listed it!! It was right around the corner! Needless to say, we have a new end table! God certainly has a sense of humor!

We also moved Madelyn back into her own room and into a "big girl bed." She is very proud of it and comes down every morning saying "big girl bed!!" It is just her crib converted into a head board and foot board. It is still a work in progress, but thought I'd share anyway!

Silly Girls With Hats

Just goofy pictures of the girls wearing Raggedy Andy's sailor hat.

Maddie's Party

Madelyn's new fairy princess dress, and pink shoes to match!

Nate and Megan Howard with our youngest party animal, Jacob, who was not even 2 weeks old!

Playing with new toys.

Madelyn blowing out the candle, with help of Jude Montague and Makenzie.

Jenni Lanier, Justin Montague, and the kiddos getting ready for cake.

PARTY!!

Makenzie loves to do crafts. She stayed at the table long after every one else got bored and went to play with something else!

The moms helping the kiddos with a ladybug craft project.

Martha Stewart I am not, but I gave it my best shot at making a lady bug cake. At least it doesn't take much to impress the girls at this age! :)
